The drive across the Island of Hvar, and actually in most of Croatia that we’ve seen so far, has been beautiful but quite tedious for the driver which has always been Jim. Here he is trying to catch a nap on the ferry as we leave Sucarj, Hvar Island, for the mainland and another three hour drive to Dubrovnik.

Kathleen and Adam (he’s back from waiting tables in Croatia where I think he messed up his shoulder carrying those heavy trays of meat) dropped by yesterday and brought along a bottle of wine that I’ve been wanting to try from Nova Scotia. Thanks, Bean!
