…………guess you gotta have one of those days every now and then.   First of all we slept in………….Jim is usually up early but today with the curtains drawn it was quite dark in the room and he took full advantage of it by sleeping late, and so did I.   So when we got up to breakfast all the whole wheat bread  was gone which made a dent in my fibre intake and you know how important that is on vacation………..had to make do with extra fresh watermelon and pineapple.    And then it started to rain!   That probably doesn’t sound like a big deal but when you’ve been used to sunshine day after day after day it is kind of a shock.  We were out for a walk when it started and had gone into a little store to look around and then there was this strange noise and I looked at Jim with that strange look on my face that was clearly read as “What the hell is that?” and when we checked it out it was pouring and of course splattering all over the tin roof.   Of course that meant we had to shop a little longer hoping it would pass and needless to say Jim was thrilled about that.  Shortly thereafter the three of us had a disagreement because not only could we not remember what day of the month it was but we couldn’t remember what day of the week it was…………had to turn on the I-pad to figure it out……..that’s a first and hoping it will happen again.  Anyway the rain stopped before too long and we were off to the beach where the sun came out and the water was warm and we swam and swam and lay on the white sand.   There’s this really neat restaurant at the end of the beach called “Fisherman’s” so we decided to go for a beer as we got too hot.   I’m not a beer drinker and they deliver bottled beer in those cooler wrap around things so as I was pouring mine the beer bottle came out of the holder and fell into the glass splattering beer everywhere………what a mess!   Jim says that was the worse thing that happened all day…………hope we get through without any other terrible things happening…………..not sure I can take this pressure.    Hope you’re having a better day and that’s all there is to say.
