…..at Santiago de Compostella which was under renovation, quite beautiful even with that going on.  We arrived in time for the Mass which many ‘pilgrims’ who have done the camino attend and at the same time  many tourists, like us, are wandering through.   A beautiful choir and a magnificent cathedral.   We decided not to spend the night in Santiago but had coffee and a sweet and headed out to try and find a quieter spot.
