…….is not just any boot, it’s the boot of anyone who’s done the camino and they come here to celebrate their journey and then they burn their boots  in the pit with the cross…..see below.   We did not burn our boots because, although they did a little piece of the camino, they were still fairly new and had a whole lot of walking still to do.
